PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Sex- and gender-based disparities exist in adult and paediatric kidney, liver, lung, heart, and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. There are not only biological, but also psychological and socioeconomic issues that contribute to disparity in outcomes as well as to inequitable access to transplantation for women and girls.
