Quality of life after liver transplantation: an ESOT seminar for patients
This webinar was hosted on Monday, June 3, 2024 from 17:00 - 18:30 CEST.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The project “Quality of Life after Liver Transplantation” is an initiative by ESOT (European Society for Organ Transplantation) aimed at enhancing the understanding of the needs of individuals who require or have undergone liver transplantation. Patient representation and participation are central to this initiative.

A survey of the same name was designed with the objectives to acquire greater knowledge of the needs and experiences of people who need or have received a liver transplant. Utilising the knowledge acquired through the survey, a group of experts have designed this workshop to provide the patient community with easily accessible educational resources.

This workshop focuses on the Quality of Life (QOL) outcomes in patients, post-liver transplantation.

By analyzing and interpreting the collected QOL survey data, we aim to understand the multifaceted aspects of life that affect liver transplant recipients.

FORMAT:
Each session will consist of concise presentations followed by an interactive Q&A segment. Participants can submit their questions via the chat, from which moderators will curate and select queries for the speakers. To ensure accessibility, an AI-powered system will provide simultaneous translation and subtitles in multiple languages.
