Fantastic bugs and how to recognise them: practical approach in diagnosis of opportunistic infections in SOT
This webinar was hosted on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 18:00 - 19:00 CEST.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The third webinar of our series on the quality of care in post-transplant infectious disease will focus on prevention strategies and emerging viral pathogens. In the first talk, we will learn how to prevent infections in the posttransplant phase. Here, lifestyle recommendations including the vaccinations recommended for transplant recipients will be provided. The second talk will cover emerging tropical viruses, with a focus on arboviruses and how to diagnose and treat them. In the last talk, we will learn that there are viruses that can help us to optimise immunosuppression in post-transplant routine care.
